Golden Island Cruises initially gained recognition as a boat company facilitating journeys from Lombok to Komodo Island, with the final destination in Labuan Bajo. During this adventurous journey, one of the most popular destinations among travelers is Whale Sharks Point in Saleh Bay, Sumbawa, which offers a rare and incredible opportunity to witness whale sharks in their natural habitat.

As time went on and our company grew, we noticed an increasing demand from potential customers seeking shorter trips focused solely on the extraordinary experience of meeting whale sharks in Sumbawa. Recognizing this growing demand, we are proud to announce that this year, we will be launching a new trip specifically designed to cater to this need. Check the departure schedule below.

For those of you who wat to joint the trip please stand by in the pick up point maximum at 8.30 am we will pick you up and transfer you to Kayangan harbor by our own Transport.

Itinerary

08.30: Pick up Point: We will pick you up from Bangsl, Senggigi, Mataram, Kuta and Tetebatu and deliver to Our meeting point at Golden island Cruises Head Office

10:30 Check in and payment in our office also you will have a breakfast complimentary here serve by friendly staff.

11.00 Start to Kayangan harbor to get on the boat

01:00 Pm Start sailing to first spot in Gili Kondo. Here we will do snorkel, Swim, chill on the beach and visit the beautiful tiny island

03.30 Pm Continue to Kanawa iSland, in Kanawa we will do soft trekking and catch the beautifull sunset.

06:00 Am We will arrive in Saleh Bay early in the morning, we will serve your breakfast before we start snorkeling with Whale sharks there.

07:00 Am Swim and Snorkel with whale sharks and enjoy play with them. don’t touch them for stay safe.

09:00 on the way back to Kayangan Harbor we will visit last island in Sumbawa for swim and chill on the beach.

06.00 – 07.00 Pm Arrive in Kayangan Harbor where is the tour ended.

Komodo National Park, Pink Beach & Padar Island
After sailing all night from Sumbawa to Flores, NTT, we’ll arrive at Komodo National Park early in the morning, before the sun comes up. Today, we’ll explore one of the world’s wonders—Komodo National Park!

Visiting Komodo National Park
After breakfast, we’ll get off the boat and head to Loh Liang Village, a place that’s home to the famous Komodo dragons. Here, we’ll get to see the Komodo’s natural habitat, the world’s largest lizard that only exists in Indonesia.
We’ll take the medium trekking route, which will take about 1 hour to explore the Komodo and other wildlife. We’ll spend about 2 hours on the island before heading to the next spot.

Relaxing at Pink Beach
After exploring Loh Liang, we’ll sail to Pink Beach, which will take about 2 hours. Once we arrive, all guests will disembark and have about 2 hours to swim, play, or snorkel. Just so you know, Pink Beach is one of the few beaches in the world with pink sand—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the clear ocean views.

Trekking on Padar Island
From Pink Beach, we’ll head to Padar Island, the iconic island of Komodo due to its stunning beauty. The trip takes about 1 hour from Pink Beach. We’ll arrive around 4:00 PM, and then we’ll hike to the top of Padar, which will take about 1 hour. Once at the top, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Komodo National Park, including the three different colored sands of the beaches—pink, white, and black. The view is even more magical during sunset, with the golden sky surrounding the park’s incredible landscapes.

After the trek and soaking in the beauty of Padar, we’ll head back to the boat for dinner.

Party on the Boat
Tonight’s a party night! We’ll enjoy the vibe around Padar Island, listening to music. Our team will set up a simple sound system for the evening. So, let’s join the party tonight! We’ll stay overnight on the boat—the same boat that’s taken you to these fantastic islands.
