4 Days on the Sea: My Real Experience Cruising from Lombok to Labuan Bajo

Okay, let me tell you this first this trip was AMAZING.

The moment the boat started sailing, I already knew this was going to be special. Open sea, fresh air, blue everywhere. We stopped at Kenawa Island and watched our first sunset from the boat, and I was just standing there like, wow… is this real life? Dinner onboard, stars above us, then sailing overnight such a vibe.

Day two was crazy. Swimming with whale sharks at Saleh Bay was something I never imagined I’d do. They were huge, calm, and absolutely unreal. Later, dolphins showed up near Tambora, we jumped into the sea, and honestly, I lost track of time. Boat life really hits different.

Day 3 was EVERYTHING. After breakfast, we arrived at Komodo National Park and stepped onto Komodo Island. No long trek, just a chill walk with the guide, looking around and taking a quick photo session together aughing, posing, trying to look calm while my brain was screaming “OMG I’M HERE.”

Then we headed to Pink Beach, and wow… unreal. The sand was actually pink, the water was insanely clear, and snorkeling there was SO GOOD. Fish everywhere, zero rush, I completely lost track of time.

Around 4 PM, we arrived at Padar Island and hiked just before sunset. The view from the top? CRAZY. Three different colored beaches and golden light everywhere.

We ended the day back on the boat with dinner and a fun, chill boat party under the stars. Best. Day. Ever.

Day 4 started with our last snorkeling at Majarite Island. Airnya bening banget, karangnya cantik, dan yes… we even saw sea turtles swimming right past us. I was like, okay, this is such a good way to end the trip.

After that, we headed to Kelor Island. Pasir putih, laut biru, vibes-nya tenang tapi happy. I climbed up for one last view, stood there for a bit, and just enjoyed the moment. Then we slowly sailed back to Labuan Bajo, saying goodbye to the crew, the boat, and honestly… one of the best trips ever.

Still can’t believe this all just happened.
